VA

Dear Veteran Community of the Philippines,

The VA has been working with the State Department and CDC in Washington DC to develop a plan of vaccinating all Veterans globally.  There are several bills going through congress to allow for Veterans who are not enrolled in a VA facility as well as their family members and other beneficiaries receiving benefits from the VA.

Administering vaccines is a clinically controlled process and will require detailed tracking, documentation, brief observation period, and the ability for the recipient to be contacted for their scheduled return visit.

I am monitoring the situation daily and assure you that the Veteran community will be notified once we have received word that the vaccine is on its way to this location and the VAโ€™s plan to administer the vaccine to all eligible recipients.  With our geographic challenges it will take the Veteran community to insure no one is left behind.
