Message for U.S. Citizens: Remote Services in La Union on June 26, 2024

The U.S. Embassy Manila’s American Citizens Services (ACS) Unit and representatives from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs will host a remote services event in La Union, Pangasinan, Philippines on June 26, 2024, for U.S. citizens to provide the following:

American Citizens Services (ACS)
Notarial services
Acceptance of Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) applications
Acceptance of U.S. passport applications

Time: Sign-up begins at 7:30 a.m. Services are on a first come, first served basis.

Note:

Services are available from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. We anticipate having to turn away some late-arriving customers if they exceed our service capacity, so please arrive promptly and come with all required documents for your desired citizenship and passport services prepared. If you registered and paid online through the Department of State’s new online application (eCRBA), please bring the confirmation of payment or the summary report from MyTravelGov.

Payment for services will only be accepted in Philippine pesos. Exact change only. Service fees are as follows:

VA Manila Regional Office Services

VA Regional Office:

· Field general inquiries on available VA benefits
· Field inquiries on specific pending claims for benefits
· Assist in filling out VA application forms for various benefits such as compensation, pension, death pension, burial benefits, claim for dependents and change of address.
· Information dissemination and face to face discussion on PACT Act related claims processing.

Out-patient Clinic:

· Registration/Enrollment with OPC
· Scheduling of clinical appointments with OPC
· Information and assistance on the Foreign Medical Program
· My HealtheVet Assistance
· VHIC ID Application

Nursing Team:

· Provide preventive immunization (Flu, Pneumonia, Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis, Zoster vaccines, Covid 19)
· Updating vital signs, height and weight record
· Assessing patient’s condition and medical need
· Patient education on healthy lifestyle habits
Suicide Prevention Coordinators
· Provide Suicide Prevention awareness.
· Veteran Crisis Line information
· Distribute gift items from Suicide Prevention Program
· Assessment of Mental Health appointment need

Patient Advocate

· Resolving concern about any aspect of health care experience in the clinic

ACS has also received confirmation that representatives from the Philippine Bureau of Immigration and the Philippine Retirement Agency will be present at the event.
