Message for U.S. Citizens: Update Regarding Remote Services in Dumaguete on February 12, 2025
The U.S. Embassy’s American Citizen Services (ACS) Unit is sharing additional details about the upcoming remote services event in Dumaguete. In addition to ACS, the event will include representatives from the U.S. Veterans Administration (VA) and the Social Security Administration (SSA).
Event Location: Hotel Essencia, Real Street, Dumaguete – (see on Google Maps)
Date: February 12, 2025
Time:
· Sign-up begins at 7:30am.
· ACS and SSA services are available from 8:00am to 11:00am.
· VA services will be available from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Services first come, first served. We recommend arriving early to make sure you receive service.
What to Bring
· Originals and photocopies of all required documents.
· Passport applicants should bring a passport photograph that meets the requirements indicated here.
· Embassy personnel cannot provide printing, copy, or photography services. These services may not be available nearby, so please plan ahead.

Notarial services

*Acceptance of Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) applications
*Acceptance of U.S. passport applications.
*Important Notes for Passport Applicants:
Many passport renewals can be submitted by mail. Visit https://ph.usembassy.gov/passports for details. In-person passport applications are only required for the following cases:
Applicants under age 18 (both parents must also appear unless additional requirements are met),
Replacement of lost or stolen passports,
First-time passport applications, or the first time a passport-holder renews his or her passport after turning 16, and
Renewals of passports issued over 15 years ago.
Important Notes for Consular Report of Birth Abroad Applicants:
If you registered and paid online through the Department of State’s new online application (eCRBA), please bring the confirmation of payment or the summary report from MyTravelGov .
Applicants for Citizenship and Passport services must review all information on the U.S. Embassy website and come prepared to help ensure their application is processed quickly.
Important Notes Regarding Payment for ACS Services:
* Payment for ACS services will only be accepted in Philippine pesos, and in exact change only.
Service fees are as follows:
* Adult (16 and above) passport application (DS11): PHP 10,230
*Minor (under 16) passport application (DS11): PHP 8370
* Passport renewal (minor DS11): PHP 8370
*Passport renewal (adult DS82): PHP 8060
*Consular Report of Birth Abroad: PHP 6200
*Notarial services (per notarial act): PHP 3100
