It is our sad duty to inform you that two (2) Comrades have fallen:

Case # 22-16, Michael Thomas Compton, U.S. Army Retired, Vietnam Veteran, age 71, passed away on  January 3, 2022 at Asian Hospital & Medical Center, Alabang Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. He was a Past VFW Robert W. Zaher Post 2485 Quartermaster

The family is planning an Interment Burial with Military Honors at Clark Veterans Cemetery (CVC), CFZ, Angeles City. Final date will be announced.

Case # 22-17, Robert Gary Volz, USMC Veteran, age 66, passed away December 15, 2021 at his residence in Angeles City, Pampanga. In accordance with his last wishes, he was cremated December 16, 2021. Submitted & pending approval by ABMC & CDC the family has requested rendering of Military Honors by VFW Post 2485 Honor Guard & the U.S Marine Corp Eulogy by the Leathernecks, Philippines on Tuesday,  January 18, 2022 at 10:30 AM at the Hall of Flags in CVC & following Military Honors, he will be laid to rest with an Inurnment Burial in CVC.

Final approval by ABMC & CDC has been received for these Comrades:

Case # 22-15, Terrence Michael Kane, U.S. Air Force Veteran age 63, passed away in St. Paul Medical Center, San Antonio, Magalang, Pampanga on Saturday, January 1, 2022. He is lying in repose at Tanglao Funeral Service, Magalang, Pampanga.

Rendering of Military Honors by VFW Post 2485 Honor Guard has been approved for Thursday,  January 6, 2022 at 10 AM at the Hall of Flags in CVC &  following Military Honors, he will be laid to rest with an Interment Burial in CVC.

Case # 22-11, David John Myrand, CWO-2, U.S. Army Retired, Vietnam Veteran age 74, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at The Medical City, Clark. He was a Life member of American Legion Post 123, Life member of VFW Robert W. Zaher Post 2485,

Life member of DAV TBH Memorial Chapter 3, Life member & Board of Directors officer of VVA Chapter 887. Rendering of Military Honors by VFW Post 2485 Honor Guard has been approved for Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 9 AM at the Hall of Flags in CVC & following Military Honors, he will be laid to rest with an Inurnment Burial in CVC.

Case # 22-10, Allan Leroy Fields, U.S. Air Force Retired, Vietnam Veteran age 85, passed away on Monday,  December 20, 2021 at The Medical City, Clark. He was

a member of American Legion Post 123 & member of VFW Robert W. Zaher Post 2485. Rendering of Military Honors by VFW Post 2485 Honor Guard has been approved for Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 10:30 AM at the Hall of Flags in CVC & following Military Honors, he will be laid to rest with an Inurnment Burial in CVC.
