The following information is provided by the Burial Assistance Office of the American Legion Department of the Philippines.

It is our sad duty to inform you that Three (3) Comrades have fallen:

Case # 21-62 John F. Flaherty Jr., TSgt, U.S. Air Force Retired, Vietnam Veteran, age 60, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at his residence in Angeles City. He was:

Member of American Legion Post 123 and a member of VFW Post 2485. He will lay in repose at the Sta. Maria Chapel (Behind the Main Church) in Balibago, Angeles City from June 17, 2021 – June 22, 2021, at 7 AM. Submitted & pending approval by ABMC & CFZ,  the Family has requested rendering of Military Honors by VFW Post 2485 Honor Guard on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 9 AM at the Hall of Flags of Clark Veterans Cemetery (CVC), CFZ, Angeles City & following Military Honors, he will be laid to rest with an Interment Burial at CVC.

Case # 21-ICA-23 Robert James Kowalewski, TSgt, U.S. Air Force Retired, Vietnam Era, age 63, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021 at his residence in Makati City Metro Manila. Submitted & pending approval by ABMC & CFZ, the Family has requested rendering of Military Honors by VFW Post 2485 Honor Guard on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 10:30 AM at the Hall of Flags of CVC & following Military Honors, he will be laid to rest with an Interment Burial in  CVC.

Case # 21-61 Edward Mundy, U.S. Army Veteran, age 82, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Rafael Memorial Medical Center/ ONA in Angeles City. Funeral arrangements are pending.
