Allen “Pop” Reeves American Legion Post 123

It is the sad duty of the American Legion Department of the Philippines Burial Assistance Office to inform you that two Comrades have Fallen:

Case # 21-65 Benjamin David Saylor, U.S. Navy Veteran, age 36, passed away June 21, 2021 at Angeles University Foundation Medical Center. He was a member of American Legion Post 123.

Per the Family’s instruction, he will be cremated on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 9 AM at the Angeles City Public Memorial Park (Angeles City Public Cemetery & Crematorium) in Sapalibutad, Angeles City.

His remains will be repatriated to the United States, will have a Columbarium (Urn) Burial with Full Military Honors in Kentucky, U.S.A. Rendering of Military Honors by VFW Post 2485 & FRA San Miguel Branch 367 of San Antonio for the 2-Bell Ceremony at Clark Veterans Cemetery (CVC), CFZ, Angeles City will be held at a later date.

Case # 21-ICA-25 Roger Smith, MSgt, U.S. Air Force Retired, Vietnam Veteran age 75, passed away June 22, 2021 in Tacloban Hospital in Tacloban City, Leyte. Per the Family’s instruction, he was cremated on Thursday, June 24, 2021 in Tacloban City. The family is planning for an Inurnment Burial with Rendering of Military Honors by VFW Post 2485 & burial in CVC upon clearance from Tacloban City to come to Angeles City.

 Awaiting Approval by ABMC and CFZ for rendering Of Military Honors for the following Comrades:

Case # 21-64 Dennis W. Drazkowski, U.S. Army Veteran, age 80 passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at his residence in Angeles City.

He was a Past Post Commander of American Legion Post 123. In accordance with his last wishes, he was cremated on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Angeles City Public Cemetery & Crematorium in Sapalibutad Angeles City. Submitted and pending approval by ABMC and CFZ, the Family has requested the rendering of Military Honors by VFW Post 2485 Honor Guard on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 9 AM at the Hall of Flags of CVC & following Military Honors, he  will be laid to rest with an Inurnment Burial in CVC.

Case # 21-IC-19 Cesar O. Noble, CWO 4, U.S. Army Retired, age 77, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the Regional Medical Center, San Fernando City, La Union Philippines. He was Past Commander of VFW Post 9892, A member of VFW Post 124, Cooties Pup Tent 7 & Past Commander of American Legion Post 125. Submitted & pending approval by ABMC and CFZ, the Family has requested the rendering of Military Honors by VFW Post 2485 Honor Guard on

Thursday, July 13, 2021 at 10 AM at the Hall of Flags of CVC &  following Military Honors, he will be laid to rest with an Inurnment Burial in CVC.
