Allen “Pop” Reeves American Legion Post 123

The following information is provided by the Casualty Office of the American Legion Post 123:

It is the sad duty of the Casualty Office to inform you that another Comrade has fallen:   

Case # 20-IC-29 Larry Elwyne Hignight, U.S Air Force Veteran,

Vietnam War Veteran, age 71 passed away on Wednesday,  September 23, 2020 at The Davao Medical Center in Davao City. Philippines. Funeral arrangements call for his cremation in Davao City. Upon the lifting of the in-country travel ban, his ashes will be transferred to Angeles City to be laid to rest with an inurnment burial with Military Honors at Clark Veterans Cemetery (CVC) at Clark Freeport Zone, in Angeles City.

RESTRICTIONS for BURIALS with MILITARY HONORS at CLARK VETERANS CEMETERY, CLARK FREEPORT ZONE in ANGELES CITY PAMPANGA HAS BEEN LIFTED for PUBLIC BURIALS as of 6 July 2020.

However, the following requirements are required by ABMC and VA for All Interment and Inurnment Burials:

No more than Twenty-Five Family Members may attend

All Attendees Must Maintain the Required Social Distancing

All Attendees Must Wear Face Mask and Shield

All Military Honors will be held at Gate 1 Area of Clark Veterans Cemetery at Clark Freeport Zone in Angeles City. 

Parking for the Services will be at Gate 2 Parking Area at  Clark Veterans Cemetery at Clark Freeport Zone in Angeles City

The FOLLOWING BURIAL with MILITARY HONORS at CLARK VETERANS CEMETERY HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED to ABMC and CFZ FOR APPROVAL FOR THE FOLLOWING FALLEN COMRADE: 

Case # 20-67 Timothy Lee Kurutz, Capt, U.S Air Force Retired,

Global War on Terrorism Veteran, age 44 passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020. Submitted and pending approval by ABMC and CFZ, the family’s request for rendering of Military Honors followed by an interment burial on Wednesday,  September 30, 2020 at 10 AM. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the MPS Memorial Homes / Pangilinan Memorial Chapels, Angeles City.
