The following information is provided by the Burial Assistance office of The American Legion Department of the Philippines.
It is our sad to inform you that several comrades have fallen:
Case # 21-47 George Kim, MSgt, U.S. Army Retired, World War II, Asiatic-Pacific Veteran, age 94, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center (ONA) in Angeles City.
In compliance with the Philippines Health and Safety protocol, he was directly cremated on Friday, May 7, 2021 at the La Pieta Crematorium in Angeles City. Rendering of Military Honors by the VFW Post 2485 Honor Guard will be held at a later date. He will be repatriated to the United States & have a Columbarium (Urn) Burial in a National Cemetery in California.

Case # 21-IC-19 Cesar O. Noble, CWO-4, U.S. Army Retired, age 77, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the Regional Medical Center, San Fernando City, La Union Philippines. Rendering of Military Honors by the VFW Post 2485 Honor Guard will be held at a later date. Upon completion of the Military Honors, he will be laid to rest with an Inurnment Burial in Clark Veterans Cemetery (CVC), CFZ, Angeles City. He was cremated on Saturday, April 24, 2021. Comrade Roble was Past Commander of VFW Post 9892, La Union,
a member of VFW Post 124 Baguio City, Cooties Pup Tent 7, Past Commander of American Legion Post 125, La Union. The listed VSOs conducted a combined Memorial service for him on April 15, 2021 at his residence & the family is requesting rendering of Military Honors by VFW Post 2485, followed by an inurnment burial at CVC.

Case # 21-IC-21 Lewis Brown Nunnally, U.S. Air Force Retired, age 73, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at his residence in Quezon City. He was cremated Saturday, May 1, 2021. Rendering of Military Honors by VFW Post 2485 Honor Guard Fallen will be held at a later date. Following Military Honors, he will be laid to rest with an inurnment burial at a local cemetery in Balintawak, Quezon City.

Case # 21-IC-22 Thomas Lee Monk, U.S. Army Veteran, age 78, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Philippines. VFW Post 2485 will render Military Honors at the Hall of Flags (Gate 1) Area of CVC & he will then be laid to rest with an inurnment burial in the cemetery.
