As this year of 2020 draws to a close, there is one word that fittingly represents the Vietnam Veteran of this chapter – SURVIVAL. We have survived everything that has been thrown at us since the end of the Vietnam War (including the consequences of that war, Agent Orange, etc.) and COVID-19. We have survived this year of 2020 and resolve to make 2021 a year of recovery.
As your VVA Chapter PI 887 President, I am proud of the accomplishments we made in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. We began having our regular general membership meetings and shortly should be able to resume our socials and normal functions. A vaccine will soon be available to us service connected veterans through the VA Manila Clinic.
We have adapted, innovated and grown. I am sure that in the coming new year we will continue to do so. Hope to see you at our next GMM, Tuesday, Jan 5th at 2 PM in A.L. Post 123.
GREAT JOB GUYS – KEEP IT UP!
HAPPY NEW YEAR – GOD BLESS!
JAMES (JIM) LARY President
