The Social Security Administration’s Federal Benefits Unit (FBU) in Manila provides services to beneficiaries in the Philippines and more than 40 countries throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
SSA in-person services are by appointment only. Walk-in visits are not accepted.
Customers who make appointments through the American Citizen Services (ACS) unit will not be seen by FBU representatives or receive Social Security-related services. ACS staff are employees of the Department of State. They are unable to assist with Social Security matters or help customers make appointments with the FBU. We request customers do not make ACS appointments with the intent of requesting a walk-in appointment with FBU. FBU does not accept walk-in appointments, and there are no exceptions to this policy.
To Request an Appointment: Send an email to FBU.Manila@ssa.gov with the subject line “Appointment Request.” The email should include your:
Name
Purpose for requesting an appointment; and
Contact Number
The FBU will respond to your request within 15 business days to confirm your appointment, if approved.
