The Angeles City LGU advises the public to take precautionary measures amid the incoming “Super Typhoon Betty” which may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) later today or tomorrow morning, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

The Angeles City Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office (ACDRRMO) is ready for any eventualities or emergency but the Angeles LGU advises Angelenos to be prepared with their emergency kits such as flashlights, phones, and basic supplies.

The Angeles LGU also has enough stockpile at the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) to conduct relief operations while the City Engineer’s Office (CEO) has already set a maintenance team that will monitor the situation on a 24-hour basis.

The Angeles City Evacuation Center and Sub-Evacuation Centers had been also readied in case there is a need to transfer residents to safer grounds. The ACDRRMO and the CEO had already evacuated some residents living near the riverbanks.
