We are monitoring the continued impacts of Typhoon Odette (Rai), which damaged communications, transportation, and utilities (electricity and water) infrastructure across the central islands of the Philippines. While we continue to work with Local Government Units (LGUs) to assist U.S. citizens affected by the typhoon, concerned family members and friends may seek direct assistance to locate missing U.S. citizens from the:
Office of Civil Defense – Regional Offices
Department of Social Welfare and Development – Field Offices
Philippine Red Cross – Welfare

Actions to take:
If you are in the affected areas and require immediate, emergency assistance, contact your local government authorities or the organizations listed above.
Monitor the Philippine News Agency and local news for updates.
Monitor the website of the National Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Council.
