U.S. Embassy Chargé d’Affaires John Law joined Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso and the diplomatic corps in a wreath-laying ceremony to commemorate the heroes of World War II who fought in the Battle of Manila in 1945, many of whom paid the ultimate sacrifice for freedom.The event culminated with a tour of the U.S. Embassy’s “Portraits of Filipino and American Courage in WWII” photo exhibit.
